We're Not Just Insurance Agents. We're Advocates.
Community Benefit Advocates was built on a simple belief: every person deserves clear, honest guidance — not a sales pitch. We exist to close the gap between complex systems and the real people trying to navigate them.
Community Benefit Advocates LLC is an independent education, advocacy, insurance-services, senior-placement, and employee-benefits organization founded by Elisha Carson. We help individuals, families, seniors, veterans, caregivers, and small businesses understand their options and connect with appropriate insurance coverage and community resources. Insurance services are provided by appropriately licensed insurance professionals. Community Benefit Advocates is not affiliated with or endorsed by the federal government or the Medicare program.
Our Mission
To illuminate the path toward stronger communities, financial security, healthier living, and peaceful aging by empowering individuals, families, seniors, and small businesses through education, advocacy, and trusted guidance.
Our Vision
We envision communities where every person has the knowledge, confidence, and resources to achieve financial wellness, reduce financial risk, make informed healthcare decisions, and age with dignity and peace of mind.
Our Story
Elisha Carson spent nearly a decade watching people make life-altering decisions about healthcare and insurance without the information they needed to make them well. She saw families enroll in the wrong plans. She saw seniors overwhelmed by Medicare options. She saw small business owners lose great employees because they couldn't figure out how to offer competitive benefits. And she saw veterans leave money and support on the table simply because no one explained what they had earned.
In 2026, she founded Community Benefit Advocates to change that.
CBA is not a traditional insurance agency. It is an advocacy organization that happens to be founded by a licensed insurance agent who can help people enroll in the plans that are right for them. The difference matters. Every conversation starts with listening — not selling. Every recommendation is built around the person in front of us, not a commission structure.
From individuals and families navigating health coverage, to seniors exploring Medicare and senior living options, to veterans accessing earned benefits, to small businesses building employee benefits packages that actually attract and retain people — CBA exists to make the complex simple, the overwhelming manageable, and the process human.

What We Stand For
Honesty Over Sales
Every recommendation is made in the best interest of the person asking — not the carrier paying the commission. If a plan isn't right for someone, we say so.
Education as Empowerment
People make better decisions when they understand their options. CBA invests in education because informed clients are confident clients.
Dignity in Every Interaction
Whether someone is 28 or 82, a sole proprietor or a 50-person company, every person who reaches out to CBA is treated with the same respect and care.
Community as Purpose
CBA was built for the community — not for shareholders. The mission is to strengthen the people and organizations that make communities work.
